Grande Albergo Ausonia & Hungaria dates back to the
beginning of the 1900's, when the Lido of Venice precisely earned great
prestige as a summer resort.
Originally designed in Renaissance style the hotel was aesthetically
improved in 1914, before the wartime, by fine ceramist Luigi Fabris who
added to its frontage an elegant multicoloured earthenware decor.
Such artistic features state the rare presence in Veneto of typical
Northern and Central-European decorative manners.
While, Art Nouveau influences the choice of old ebony furniture,
original artistic creation by master Eugenio Quarti. This sophisticated
accommodation is a breathtaking statement in Art Nouveau design
complemented by high standards of service.
